Company Overview
A leader in nursing education for 90 years, the Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing community includes 75 full-time faculty, 19 staff, and over 1250 students. Programs include a BSN degree with traditional and accelerated tracks, a DNP degree with nurse practitioner preparation tracks, and a PhD in Nursing degree.
We are nationally recognized for nursing education, research, and inclusive excellence. We are proud of these accomplishments and more:
• Top 2% national ranking (#13) for our BSN program, according to US News and World Report
• Ranked nationally in NIH research funding for nursing schools
• Winner of the 2024 American Association of Colleges of Nursing Inclusive Excellence, Belonging, and Sustainability in Nursing Education Award
• Winner of the Higher Education Excellence and Distinction (HEED) Award for Health Professions Schools from 2023-2025
• A new building opening on our Lake Shore Campus in 2028 will anchor the continued expansion of our BSN program.
