Antioch University has joined with Otterbein University to establish the Coalition for the Common Good, the first national higher education system of affiliated universities organized around a shared mission of promoting democracy, social and racial justice, and the common good. Central to the first phase of the Coalition is the transfer of existing Otterbein University graduate programs in nursing and health professions to Antioch University. Otterbein’s nursing and health and sport sciences programs are fully accredited, have consistently high professional exam pass rates, and successfully prepare students to advance their careers after graduation.
Otterbein has deep roots in its historic base of Central Ohio, while Antioch University has a national presence with locations in Los Angeles; Seattle; Santa Barbara; and Keene, New Hampshire. Its graduate programs are offered at the master’s and doctoral levels and in modalities that best align with pedagogical goals and the needs of adult learners. Both Antioch and Otterbein are committed to enhancing access to higher education and preparing graduates to lead with integrity and advance their communities and professions for the common good.
The Antioch CRNA Program will be a new program built on the success of Otterbein University’s existing CRNA Program, scheduled for closure in May 2026. The new CRNA Program will share some courses with existing DNP, FNP, and PMHNP programs, which will be offered online. Some CRNA-specific courses and all clinicals will be in person.
