About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Consultant who will be responsible for partnering with ECMO Executive Office and functional teams to consult and execute on complex, critical and/or sensitive change, awareness, procedure, and process-related communication needs with a high degree of quality and consistency. This individual may also lead or engage upon various initiatives and projects in support of the Change and Awareness Communications processes and strategies. This role will report to the Manager of the ECMO Communications team. 
In this role, you will:
  • Lead or execute communication-based initiatives and activities
  • Implement communications strategies to promote and protect Wells Fargo's reputation
  • Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives
  • Partner with other Communications teams to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging
  • Provide consultation, drafting, and distribution support of change and awareness communications related to ECMO initiatives including changes to process, procedure, and general awareness-related announcements
  • Partner with leaders and employees across multiple functions to transform broad, complex ideas into clear communications for affected employees
  • Utilize critical and strategic thinking to understand low to high impacting changes in order to effectively assess employee and organizational impacts
  • Collaborate with ECMO Communications team and support partners to identify and execute communication process best practices and efficiencies
  • Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of consulting and collaborating with cross-functional business areas on complex internal communications
  • 3+ years of technical writing experience consulting, drafting, editing, and distributing internal communications for various levels of audiences 
  • 3+ years' experience supporting financial, complaints, risk, or regulatory initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, must be able to engage audiences and communicate with clarity and confidence
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, resourcefulness and adaptability are important
  • Ability to think strategically and draw connections between multiple related efforts 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines and levels of complexity
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing preferred
  • Knowledge of Wells Fargo style and brand guidelines preferred
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Job Expectations:
  • Available to work hybrid schedule - the position is not 100% remote.
  • Pay Range:
    73,100.00 - 129,900.00 USD Annual
