As a True Friends Special Diets Intern, you'll assist in meeting the unique dietary needs of participants, staff, and guests, ensuring meals meet specific nutritional requirements.
Pay: $15.00-$16.51 per hour depending on tenure with True Friends
Location: Camp Eden Wood - Eden Prairie, MN
Schedule: Seasonal (May - August), Full-time, M-F 7am-3:30pm

How You'll Contribute:
- Adapt and prepare meals for various dietary restrictions
- Work in a collaborative kitchen environment serving diverse populations
- Make a meaningful impact through inclusive and health-conscious meal service
- Communicate with caregivers regarding special diet requirements
- Answer questions related to special diet nutrition
Requirements
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Must be able to pass an background study
- Currently perusing a degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, or related field (preferred)
- Basic understanding of food safety and nutrition principles
- Motivated to work with individuals of all ages and abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Able to hear, read, and write in English
