The Instrumentation Mechanic assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of basic instrumentation and control systems. This entry-level position supports the Instrumentation Section by performing routine tasks and gaining hands-on experience with various instruments and control systems.
Key Functions:
Assist in the installation and maintenance of instrumentation equipment under supervision
Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of instruments
Support calibration activities by preparing equipment and documenting results
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the instrumentation workshop
Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures during all tasks
Document maintenance activities and report any anomalies to senior staff
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
1+ years experience in electronics, electrical controls, HVAC, or instrumentation related to process control equipment or other closely related experience
OR
High School diploma or equivalent
Completion of a 2-year Trade School in Electronics or HVAC
Preferences
Prior experience or internship in an industrial maintenance setting
