Applications are invited for a 12-month, non-tenure-track pharmacy faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice on the main UAMS campus in Little Rock, Arkansas. This faculty position at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level will contribute to the educational, scholarly, and service missions of the UAMS College of Pharmacy, with particular focus dedicated to didactic instruction and course coordination. The faculty member will participate in a wide variety of didactic instruction activities using innovative teaching and assessment methods to support student learning and engagement. The successful candidate will also collaborate with faculty and educational support personnel to coordinate team-taught didactic course(s). Scholarly endeavors and dissemination of scholarly works through professional meeting presentations and peer-reviewed publications are required. Service to the Department, College, and profession is also expected.

Requirements
The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding teaching skills as well as passion and enthusiasm for the pursuit of teaching excellence. The candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills. Candidates must hold an earned PharmD, hold or be eligible for Arkansas pharmacist licensure, and have completed residency training (or at least 3 years of practice experience). Previous faculty experience in course coordination and scholarly pursuits is preferred. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with education and experience.
