Rimbey Community Home Help Services is an Alberta Health Services contracted service provider that provides personal care to clients in Rimbey, the west half of Ponoka County, the communities of Alder Flats, Buck Lake, Winfield, Breton and surrounding areas.

We are currently accepting applications for a Health Care Programs Educator to provide training and support to our team of Health Care Aides. This position is responsible for ensuring training, audits and assessments are completed and documented to meet the requirements of the Continuing Care Health Service Standards. You will also provide tutoring to students enrolled in the health care aide certificate program and complete any mandatory assessments. You will be required to provide after hours on call support for medication inquiries from our team of Health Care Aides working in the community.
Workdays for this position would generally be four days per week with 32 guaranteed hours. There must be flexibility to work an occasional day on the weekend in order to assess all team members. There is possibility of this role being full-time for 2026 based on organizational needs and strategic assignments.

Applicants must have:
Current registration in Alberta as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
Experience providing training and completing performance assessments
Experience in community care
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and provide proof of insurance upon hire
Current vulnerable sector/criminal record check
